    The West Central Ohio ABLE  Program  is designed to help adults in the community  achieve various educational goals.  You must be at least 18 years old in order to attend the program.

            
         
            ABLE is....

bulletLearning to read
bulletImproving basic skills needed for better living
bulletPreparing for the General Education Development (GED) Test
bulletStudying for the purpose of finding a job or getting a promotion
bulletPreparing for college
bulletAchieving personal goals
bulletimproving basic reading, writing, and math skills
bulletLearning to speak and write English
bulletBecoming a U.S. Citizen
bulletIncreasing your ability to:
help  your children learn
fill out forms
get a better job.

Who attends ABLE classes?

bulletAnyone 19 or older
bulletA person who is officially withdrawn from school
bulletA person 16 or 17 years old who is officially withdrawn from school and has a full time work permit by the school.
bulletPeople of many educational levels attend ABLE classes
bulletPeople with or without high school diplomas come to improve their basic skills, prepare for GED or college placement exams.

 

                    Locations of West Central Ohio ABLE Classes
  Classes are held at different centers in Auglaize and Mercer and Van Wert counties.

    St. Marys  ABLE Center - located in the basement of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 201 North Perry St. Entrance is from the Church Parking Lot off of Ash Street in St. Marys, OH.

   Mercer County One Stop- located at 220 W. Livingston, Celina, OH.

Vantage Career Center - located at 818 N. Franklin St., Van Wert,OH.

Auglaize County Public Library - located in Wapak, OH.

Trinity United Methodist Church - located at 220 S. Walnut St., Van Wert, OH.

Delphos Public Library - located at 309 W. 2nd St.,Delphos, OH.

Marshall Building - 101 E. Perry St., Paulding, OH.
